Hazelnut

As with most nuts, the scent of hazelnut is generally recreated with compounds known as pyrazines, though a natural extract does exist. With the current popularity of gourmand fragrances, hazelnut is a commonly used note, especially in conjunction with chocolate, vanilla and caramel.
