Licorice

This strongly flavoured anisic root has been popular in both traditional medicine, herbal teas and sweets for centuries.

Licorice’s slightly woody, caramel-like facets and relationship with sweets allow for its use in both gourmands as well as other fragrances such as oriental and woody scents.
