Lily

Whilst there are many varieties of flower that fall under the lily umbrella, they generally tend to have sweet, intoxicating, often spicy aromas.

In perfumery, the scent can be recreated from a headspace analysis of the volatile aromachemicals emanating from the flowers. As is the case with many flowers, there is little or no essential oils of lily available.
