Pierre Bourdon
Pierre Bourdon was the only student of the great Edmond Roudnitska. He learnt Roudnitska's techniques and ethos, believing that perfumes should be created as works of art.
Educated at the Roure school of perfumery, Bourdon now has his own company, having worked for Takasago, Quest and Fragrance Resources.
He has created many legendary perfumes, such as Cool Water for Davidoff, YSL Kouros, Dior's Dolce Vita, and French Lover & Iris Poudre for Frederic Malle. Bourdon also worked with Christopher Sheldrake on the original Feminite du Bois for Shiseido, under the direction of Serge Lutens.
