Rosewood

Obtained from the Aniba roseaodora tree which grows particularly well in Brazil and South America. The remarkable oil obtained from distilling the wood shavings can smell as fresh as it does woody, with a rosy, floral hint, hence the name.

The species is unfortunately under threat from illegal harvesting as the oil can fetch a premium price.
