Stephanie Bakouche

Having always wanted to become a perfumer, Stéphanie Bakouche studied at the ISIPCA school which led her to roles including a position as Director of Hermès' fragrance laboratory.

In 2005, she met MDCI's Claude Marchal and sent him six fragrances. He was so thrilled with Invasion Barbare that he released it without any changes, and it became a bestseller for the brand. This was a remarkable accomplishment for what was Stéphanie's debut fragrance.

Bakouche later became Fragrance Development Manager for L'Artistan Parfumeur, also composing Rose Privée for the brand.

Stéphanie now works as an independent perfumer with her company Sensaba. Recently, she has created scents for Maison Crivelli, Tolteka and Jules et Mad.
