Tobacco

Tobacco is a note that can be shaped in a few different directions, from sweet cherry or rum scented pipe tobacco to cigarette ash to the dry leaves of a Cuban cigar.

Tobacco absolute is extracted from the leaves, and smells woody, earthy, slightly animalic, as well as sweet and fruity. It’s quite common in niche fragrances where its dark, alluring nature acts as a base note.
