Oktober Lake

The Oktober Lake project finds its inspiration at Lake Orta in Italy, facing the island of Orta San Giulio.

In certain parts of the lake, in early autumn, the air is scented with osmanthus and strawberry grape. Along some stretches of the lakeshore, you can feel the scent of damp earth and wet woods, mingling with damp leaves and laurel, creating a harmonious whole with the other elements. In those moments, the sensation is intoxicating.

October Lake is full-bodied, enveloping, intense like autumn itself. It is as beautiful as this season can be in its wonderful, albeit somewhat melancholic, colors that adorn the landscape in a way only autumn can. It transports you to the place without being there, on a journey that will accompany you until the next spring.
