Returns & Exchanges
Australian Return Policy
Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind purchases; however, we happily exchange incorrectly supplied products if they are unopened, undamaged, and in their original condition.
Our reasoning for this policy:
- We take pride in the integrity and provenance of all products stocked at Revelette. If an item has been returned, we can no longer guarantee this.
- Most of our customers prefer not to receive a fragrance that was previously returned. We wish for all our customers to receive a fresh bottle.
- Freight from overseas countries in Europe and the USA, for example, is already a considerable distance to travel. Any excess travel further risks the quality of the fragrance, particularly in the Australian climate.
- Buyers must provide the return shipping cost for exchange of incorrectly supplied or faulty goods. All shipping costs are non-refundable. Items purchased online may not be returned at our boutique, and vice-versa. This means any returns of items purchased online must be returned by contacting us [here].
If you need to return incorrectly supplied goods to us, please follow these steps:
- Contact us to request a product return and/or refund, showing your original receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not return to our boutique as we cannot accept returns this way if purchased online. We only deal with the original customer who placed the order. If the order is not under your name and email, then we require written authorization for you to return the item.
- Pack and seal the item(s) in their original shipping package and post it back to us. All returned products must have the bottle and packaging with Revelette's barcode and security seal intact, untampered. Where the item is sealed, the seal must not have been broken.
- Provided that we receive the product(s) in their original, unused, and unopened condition, we will arrange for the correct item to be dispatched.
- Any products found to be faulty are eligible for a full refund of the product only (postage refund not included). Faulty products must be reported to us within 2 business days of receiving the product and must be received within 7 business days of original delivery. All products being returned must be securely packed to ensure the package is fully protected. Revelette will not be responsible for packaging negligence unless the item(s) being returned was originally damaged.
If you need to return faulty goods to us, please follow these steps:
- Contact us to request a product return and/or refund, showing your original receipt or proof of purchase. We only deal with the original customer who placed the order. If the order is not under your name and email, then we require written authorization for you to return the item.
- Pack and seal the item(s) in their original shipping package and post it back to us. All returned products must have the bottle and packaging with Revelette's barcode and security seal intact, untampered.
- Once we have received the faulty goods and confirmed the fault, we will arrange for the original purchase price (excluding the original delivery fee) to be refunded using your original payment method only. Please allow up to 7 days from the date we receive the returned goods for the refund to be processed.
- If your parcel is returned to our office due to the supply of an incorrect address, or it has not been collected from your local post office in time and returned to us, the customer is liable for any re-postage fees.
Your Post Office will only hold your parcel for 10 business days. It will then be returned to our office.
As we do not accept returns for unwanted gifts, we suggest purchasing a tailored #ScentMe pack, perhaps in addition to a gift card that the recipient can put towards their favorite scent.
International Return Policy
Unfortunately, we do not offer a return policy for internationally shipped goods. Please be very specific in what you order as refunds and exchanges are not given. Once an order is lodged with a carrier, Revelette is not responsible for any damage or loss. We are also not responsible for taxes, duties, or clearance delays. Please check with your local customs office to ensure your order complies with local customs regulations.
Cancellation Policy
Please choose carefully as we do not refund for change of mind purchases. Any cancellations after an order is placed will be subject to an administration fee of $15 per order.
- For Shipping items: Store credit only, minus a $15 administration fee. No refunds will be given. Once an item is marked as shipped and/or you’ve received a tracking number (regardless of whether the package has been dropped off or picked up by Australia Post), no cancellations will be accepted.
- For International orders: No cancellations will be accepted, as there is significant administration involved. Please purchase carefully.
