Mariner’s Rhyme captures the essence of a mariner navigating stormy seas, blending a metallic edge like a razor blade with ozonic notes that conjure cold tempest winds, and a dark, mysterious depth reminiscent of the ocean’s abyss. Fresher and more transparent than other scents in the collection, it still carries the unmistakable DNA of animalic iris and dramatic character, with grey amber as its subtle animalic note.

Inspired by the sacred drama of S.T. Coleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, the epic adaptation by Iron Maiden, and the contemplative “Sailor’s Tale” by King Crimson, this fragrance is both fresh and complex, transparent yet structured.

A lively citrus and ozonic opening, sharpened by aldehydes, places you at sea, while hints of orange blossom drift from the mainland. Salty ambergris and metallic aldehydes meet oakmoss to evoke oyster shells and the ocean’s shadowy depths, before the airy transparency deepens into a mystical, almost sacred accord of iris, elemi, and incense.
