Ennui Noir, like a spiritual cleansing. Ennui: a state of mind, a recognition of the need to break through boredom and tedium, to breach the horizon of possibility. We find utter stillness in the heart of Ennui Noir, a smooth surface constructed from creamy vanilla and heliotrope, earthy Sumatran patchouli, salubrious and comforting lavender, and a long line of cedar and vetiver.

It is as if time gains a thickness when we experience this fragrance, encountering each note in a series, perceiving its inexorable flow. Refined camphor notes are rounded with vanillic musks, whilst coriander seed imparts its soft velvety bite and myrtle refreshes, awakening us from our hypnotic stupor. A hint of raspiness begins to fracture the smooth progression of time, as Ennui Noir shifts into the distance, becoming that of an eerie voice heard in the other room. It is a grey cloud of scent, weightless yet present, delicate but potent: energetic thunderclouds blanketing the horizon, breaking the meditative spell, innervating the soul. A scent of quiet intensity and surreal gravity.
