Bare feet strike the red earth. They lift it, forming a brown cloud that travels with the wind. Gradually, the cloud clears, until it suddenly evaporates on contact with cold, hard asphalt. Towédé has left a magical land where spirits float between the trees, for a new land that disregards myths and the paranormal. A land that proclaims its modernity and rationality. But Towédé is a force that nothing can sanitize. It's a fierce gentleness, a fierce tenderness. Towédé is the meeting of two worlds. They cohabit, encroach on each other, intertwine, intermingle, interpret each other. And yet, a balance is found without one giving way to the other, without one giving way to the other.
