Peony

Smelling rather like a rose, but lighter and more delicate, peony is an increasingly popular note in fragrance. Peony perhaps brings a more modern feel than rose, lacking some of the latter’s powdery facets.

Since an essence can’t feasibly be extracted from peony flowers, it’s generally composed with a combination of synthetics and other naturals.
