Raspberry

Raspberry is a much adored note in perfumery. In particular, it pairs well with rose and jasmine, but also with citrus due to the tart nature of the fruit. The main material used to create a raspberry note is typically not a natural oil, but is raspberry ketone, usually synthetically created. In the hands of a skilled perfumer, and using a few additional materials, raspberry ketone can be transformed into a photorealistic impression of the juicy red pearls we all love.⠀⠀⠀
