Bon Monsieur is luxurious and steady, a Fougere in the truest sense of the word, built around the rich yet singular depth of refined lavender absolute. An overdose of oakmoss excites the work, lifted with bergamot and rose geranium, pointing to a history of classic ‘barbershop’ fragrances: Tsar (Van Cleef and Arpels), Drakkar Noir (Guy Laroche), Rive Gauche Pour Homme (YSL), Platinum Egoiste (Chanel).

Bon Monsieur is sumptuously aromatic: confidence personified. The quality of the materials speak the loudest in this work, reinvigorating a time-tested structure. Tints of floral-earthy-citrusy green shade the composition, amongst spicy and woody accents. Musk and moss ground the fragrance.
