Tomato Leaf

What may seem an unusual perfume ingredient, tomato leaf can be quite effective as a green note. Many of us will have childhood memories of stepping into a greenhouse or smelling a tomato leaf in the sun. This note can give an evocative aspect to green fragrances.

Natural tomato leaf absolute does exist, albeit uncommon, though the note can also be blended in the lab.
